Wood pellets are a type of biomass fuel made from compressed sawdust, wood shavings, or other wood waste materials.


Usually brightly colored pellets from softwood and the dark colored usually from hardwood. Pellets are made from softwood which comes from all part of the tree including bark. 


Wood Pellet diameter varies from 6-20 mm. Diameter of 6 mm is commonly used for household use (heating usage), whereas the 8 diameter and above commonly used by industry and power plants.
